NAACP’s Pro-Abortion Stance Betrays Black Lives

On Feb, 15, 2024, Judie Brown , President of American Life League wrote an open declaration to the NAACP highlighting a critical issue of utmost significance. It cannot be overlooked, as the NAACP’s endorsement of abortion raises questions about its core mission of advocating for civil rights and equality. Referring to a 2023 document released by the NAACP outlining women’s right to reproductive freedom and health Brown raises serious concerns regarding their position on abortion.

Reports say that in 2023 there were approximately 73 million abortions performed globally. Last week, we witnessed a black conservative, Harrison Floyd, being arrested and denied bail. The irony is that the DA and judge overseeing Mr. Floyd’s case are Leftist Progressives ironically with a history of advocating for bail and jail reforms. They had especially decried blacks’ not receiving equal treatment and being jailed at disproportionate rates (as compared to whites).

Every Black Life Matters (EBLM) stands against all acts of evil and injustice. Irrespective of the “reason,” (i.e., lack of training, “racism,” lax hiring policies, poor psychological screenings, etc.), excessive force that prompts acts of police brutality is unjust. Evil acts committed by people trusted with tremendous power and authority are unacceptable and must be confronted and corrected. We pray all officers involved in Tyre’s death will receive their due maximum punishment. We also pray for the Nichols family and friends as they endure this sudden unnecessary loss, deep sorrow, and extreme grief.

In the wake of the horrific mass killing that targeted Blacks in Buffalo last weekend, President Joe Biden gave a speech branding the “poison” of white supremacist ideology as motivating the awful deed.  Biden asserted white supremacy is a poison that has been allowed to grow and fester and it’s an ideology that cannot be allowed to stand. Yes! This sad truth must certainly be addressed.
